1. Why This Matters
Before we talk posts, funnels, automation, or outreach — we get clear on calling.
The Ministry Marketing Trainer (PSRMMST) starts by answering 3 questions:
- Who are we called to reach?
- What change are we here to steward?
- How do we lovingly invite people into that change?
Fill out the worksheets below. You’ll re-use this clarity in every phase: messaging,
invitations, testimonies, giving asks, youth programs, outreach follow-up, and so on.
Tip: Do this prayerfully. Don’t write “marketing language.” Write shepherd language.
You’re describing people you love and the transformation you’re walking them toward.
3. Copy Templates You Can Use Immediately
These 3 templates are what most ministries struggle to create on their own.
You’ll reuse them in emails, landing pages, invites, and follow-up.
A. Testimony Prompt (Fill-in-the-blanks)
Before I came to {{ ministry / group / night }}, I was ____________________.
I felt ____________________ and I didn’t know ____________________.
But through {{ ministry / program / people / Jesus moving here }}, I experienced ____________________.
Now I’m ____________________, and I’m so thankful to God for ____________________.
B. Guest Follow-Up Email (Visit → Next Step)
Subject: We’re glad you came 💙
Hi {{ first name }},
We’re really glad you were with us. You matter to us, and we believe God has more for you.
If you’d like prayer, connection, or help taking a next step, just reply to this email
and our team will personally reach out.
You’re not alone. You’re seen. You’re wanted.
— {{ Ministry Name }}
C. Invitation CTA (Use on social, SMS, or stage)
“If you’re looking for hope, or you’re ready for a fresh start, we’d love to walk with you.
Tap the link / come see us / send ‘NEXT’ and we’ll personally connect you this week.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.”
You now have: (1) a mission sentence, (2) a people profile, (3) a transformation arc,
and (4) three high-impact copy blocks.
That’s more than most ministries ever write down. You’re ahead.
